Dakota Rural Action

Shane Kolb – From Meadow, South Dakota, Shane is a rancher, Chair of WORC’s Agriculture Issue Team and member of the Economic Advisory Team.

Kristianna Gehant - From Astoria, South Dakota where she owns and operates an organic produce farm. She serves on DRA’s Board of Directors and on the Board of the Falls Park Farmers’ Market in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where she is also a vendor.

Dakota Resource Council

Dean Hulse – Dean is a writer living in Fargo, North Dakota. He and his wife, Nicki, still own his family’s farm in Bottineau County, a source for much of Dean’s motivation concerning issues related to land use, renewable energy and sustainable agriculture. Dean currently is DRC’s past chair.

Roger Brenna - Roger is a farmer/rancher from New Town, North Dakota. He is Vice-Chair of Dakota Resource Council and chair of a DRC affiliate. Roger is active in livestock, trade and oil and gas issues.

Idaho Rural Council

K. C. Duerig – K.C. and his wife, Bev, live in King Hill, Idaho. K.C. is an artist and publisher of the Non-Consumer Digest. He is currently the President of Idaho Rural Council.

Ken Warr – Ken was born and raised in southern Idaho. He spent 13 years in the Navy and then 21 years working with disable American veterans. Ken retired and moved back to Idaho in 2001 and is an at-large board member of IRC.

Northern Plains Resource Council

Richard Parks – Richard is a fly-fishing guide and sporting goods store owner from Gardiner, Montana. He’s the Chair of WORC’s Hard Rock Issue Team and Biofuels Issue Team.

Jeanne Charter – Jeanne and her husband Steve have a ranch north of Billings, Montana. Jeanne has a Masters degree in Resource Planning and Conservation from the University of Michigan. She is the Secretary-Treasurer of the Bull Mountain Land Alliance, a local affiliate of Northern Plains Resource Council.

Oregon Rural Action

Randy Joseph – Randy and his wife Linda ranch in Baker County Oregon, they also are woodworkers, manufacturing custom door and windows. Randy is active in renewable energy issues.

Nancy Gledhill – – In the 70's Nancy participated in stopping a coal-fired power plant from being built SE of Boise. Prior to that she was fortunate to be involved with people such as Carolyn Mugar, who inspired her to see things differently and to take action. Currently she works 3 days week at a local retail store. Nancy’s interests are gardening, nutrition, and quality food (sustainable agriculture).

Powder River Basin Resource Council

Bernie Barlow – Bernie is a long-time member and former Chair of the Powder River Basin Resource Council. She ranches near Gillette, Wyoming.

LJ Turner – LJ is a third generation cattle and sheep rancher in Campbell County, Wyoming. His ranch is heavily impacted by mineral development. LJ is on the board of Powder River Basin Resource Council and Rockpile Museum in Gillette.

Western Colorado Congress

Curtis Imrie – Curtis raises donkeys in Buena Vista, Colorado. Curtis is also a moviemaker, the former Secretary of WCC, and a former candidate for Congress.

Tony Prendergast – Tony practices land stewardship on a ranch near Crawford, Colorado. He serves on the Public Lands committee of Western Colorado Congress and helped create the Black Canyon Land Trust.
